Another week down in the pregnancy and another week closer to giving my husband a big, giant kiss! As I am typing this, I am enjoying a delicious and nutritious orange-blueberry lassi. I found the recipe in this months edition of Fit Pregnancy, but I will share it here! Before I do that, I would also like to share something else. My dear friend, Rash Pash T-Rout, known officially as Ashley Lemr, has started a blog. It is called Immeasurably More and it has definitely been a blessing in my life so far. The blog is only a few weeks old, but so far she has established “Marriage Tip Tuesday” and posted a wonderful chili recipe along with a few really encouraging songs. I will testify to her knowledge on marriage tips! She is in a very healthy and happy marriage, with God in the center (because lets face it, that is really the only way a marriage works right) and this girl knows what she’s talking about. In a blender:
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup calcium-fortified orange juice (Simply Orange!)
3/4 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
3 ice cubes
Whip together until nice and blended! Enjoy!
